Hello! I'm Jai Prittipaul, a proud Guyanese seaman hailing from the beautiful Essequibo Coast. Living on the vibrant 4 Public Road Paradise in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I find joy in the rich culture and traditions that define our homeland. From indulging in a hearty plate of pepperpot during the holidays to sharing stories of the mighty Essequibo River and the serene Calabash Island Koria, my heart beats for every corner of Guyana.
Having travelled to many places across the seas, I cherish the unique essence of our land, whether it's the lush landscapes or the warmth of our people. I often reminisce about my childhood adventures along the River Takatu Creek and the laughter shared with friends. It’s these experiences that shape my identity and connect me with fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora, who share the same pride for our culture—like those who comment on videos celebrating our country, saying, "I love Guyana 🇬🇾 ❤" or reflecting on our local dialects.
As a seaman, I am not just navigating the waters; I am also bridging communities. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
