Hello! I’m Jairam Harripaul, a proud Guyanese currently working as a pump attendant in the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in Guyana, I have always cherished our rich heritage, from the sweet aroma of pepperpot cooking on Christmas morning to the lively sounds of our local music festivals. There's nothing quite like sharing a plate of curry and rice with friends and family, enjoying the warm camaraderie that defines our culture.
Living in a land blessed with stunning landscapes, such as the majestic Kaieteur Falls and the lush rainforests, I often find inspiration in our natural beauty. Whether it’s a Sunday spent fishing along the Essequibo River or an evening gathering to celebrate Mashramani, I carry the spirit of Guyana with me wherever I go. Although I now connect with a diaspora that spans the globe, my heart remains rooted in the rhythms of my homeland.
