Hello! I’m Jairam Kisssoon, a proud Guyanese labourer residing in the beautiful Essequibo Coast at the 57 Housing Scheme in Jib, Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant region, known for its lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Growing up here, I have always been inspired by the warmth of our community and the shared joy of our local traditions, particularly during gatherings where the aroma of duck curry fills the air. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a meal with family and friends, often using our hands, immersing ourselves in the experience of authentic Guyanese cuisine.
As someone who appreciates the beauty of our land, I often reflect on the natural wonders surrounding us, from the serenity of the Pomeroon River to the vibrant life in our gardens.
