Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep love for our rich culture, from the aromatic spices of our famous Guyanese dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice to the stunning landscapes that define our land. As a resident of Scheme Essequibo Coast, I have witnessed firsthand the evolution of our neighborhoods. I often reflect on the comments I've seen from the diaspora, filled with nostalgia for our local delicacies and traditions.
