Hello! My name is Jason Narain, and I proudly call Essequibo 69 Parika East Bank home. Living in the beautiful region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I cherish the vibrant culture and rich history of Guyana. From the lush mangroves and the majestic Essequibo River to the warmth of our people, every aspect of this land inspires me. I enjoy sharing our unique culinary delights, especially a good plate of pepperpot or a sweet cassava pone, which are staples at family gatherings and celebrations.
As a resident deeply connected to my roots, I understand the significance of our emerging story on the world stage, especially with the recent discoveries of oil.
