Hello! I’m Javan Paul, a proud resident of Creek Upper Pomeroon River in the vibrant region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Living in this culturally rich area allows me to indulge in the flavors of our beloved local cuisine, from savory curry duck to mouthwatering pepperpot. Guyana's unique blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences is reflected in our food and traditions, making every meal a celebration of our diverse heritage.
As someone who has experienced the breathtaking beauty of our land—from the magnificent Kaieteur Falls to the lush Essequibo River islands—I am deeply passionate about showcasing the untapped potential of Guyana. However, I believe that our capital city, Georgetown, needs enhancements to better accommodate the growing interest from tourists. Improved infrastructure, like public transport and pedestrian-friendly spaces, would allow more visitors to appreciate not just our stunning landscapes but the warmth and hospitality of our people.
Through my work and connections with the diaspora community, I strive to share the stories of our homeland and foster a deeper understanding of Guyana.
