Hello! My name is Jeffrey Daniels, and I proudly hail from Lower Pom River Grant New Town in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a labourer, I work hard to support my family and contribute to my community. Living in such a vibrant area allows me to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like sharing a hearty bowl of metemgee with friends and family or taking in the lush scenery by the riverbanks. The warmth of my culture is reflected in every gathering we have, where laughter and good food unite us.
Growing up in the heart of Guyana, I have a deep appreciation for our traditions and the rich history that shapes our identity. From celebrating Mashramani with colorful parades to enjoying the rhythms of our local music, I cherish every moment that connects me to my roots. My experiences have also taught me the importance of staying connected with the Guyanese diaspora, where we share stories and celebrate our heritage, no matter where we find ourselves in the world.
