Hello! I’m Jenifer Johnson, a proud resident of Aurich Essequibo Coast, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our great country, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture, especially our vibrant food scene. Whether it’s savoring a hearty bowl of pepperpot during the holidays or enjoying fresh fish curry by the river, each meal tells a story of tradition and community. I am passionate about sharing these experiences with our diaspora, connecting with fellow Guyanese wherever they may be, and reminding them of the warmth of home.
Living here also means being close to some of Guyana’s hidden gems. From the serene beauty of Manawarin Sting Ray Creek to the adventurous vibes of Monica Upper Pomeroon River Longtail Landing, I believe that each corner of our land has something special to offer. It's no wonder that Guyana is being rediscovered as a travel destination; the stories and legends, like those of the Grand Battle that put us on the Pokémon map, continue to spark curiosity and pride in our heritage.
