Hello! I’m Jennifer Sargeant, a proud resident of the Essequibo Seawall Reserve in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant rivers, I’ve developed a deep love for our rich culture and heritage. Whether it’s enjoying a delicious plate of pepperpot on special occasions or fishing along the Pomeroon River, my life is deeply intertwined with the traditions and natural beauty of our land.
As a passionate advocate for our local communities, I often engage with fellow Guyanese, both here and abroad, to celebrate our unique identity. I cherish moments reminiscing about old-time favorites like bamboo landing and River Grant, sharing stories, and connecting with others who love Guyana just as much as I do. After all, there's something irreplaceable about the warmth of our people and the spirit of our land that makes home truly special.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring local cuisine, though I have to admit, I’ve never heard of chickpeas stew!
