Hello! I’m Jermaine Waithe, a proud Guyanese seaman living in the beautiful Essequibo region, specifically on 18 First Street, Block AA, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here, I've been surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of our beloved land, where the roar of the Pomeroon River meets the laughter of our close-knit communities. Guyana is more than just my home; it’s a part of who I am. From the rich flavors of pepperpot during festive occasions to the sweet aroma of freshly baked cassava bread, our food tells the stories of our ancestors and unites us as one people.

I often reminisce about the lively celebrations and the warmth of our people, evident during events such as Mashramani and the camaraderie shared during visits to our stunning Kaieteur Falls.
