I draw inspiration from the vibrant culture of Guyana, whether it’s the rhythmic sounds of the rum shop during a wedding celebration or the comforting aroma of a plate of pepperpot and roti shared among friends and family. Living in such a rich environment continuously fuels my creativity and commitment to my work.
Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I have always been connected to the natural beauty that surrounds us. From the enchanting River Kamadankaro to the bustling communities of Lower Pomeroon and Grant Paradise, my experiences have shaped not just my career, but my identity. I take pride in representing my roots, and I see every project as a chance to contribute to the development of our beautiful homeland, while also connecting with the Guyanese diaspora who carry a piece of our culture wherever they go.
