Welcome! I’m Joan Baird, a proud Guyanese hailing from the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana has shaped who I am today. I cherish the vibrant mix of cultures that defines our nation—from the tantalizing flavors of pepperpot and cook-up rice to the rhythmic beats of our carnival celebrations. My experiences have instilled in me a deep appreciation for our diverse heritage and the warmth of our community.
