Hello! My name is Joan Percival, and I proudly call the lush landscape of Essequibo my home. Nestled in the heart of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I enjoy a vibrant life enriched by the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our beautiful Guyana. From the lively sounds of the river to the delightful aroma of traditional dishes like pepperpot simmering on the stove, every moment here embodies the essence of our heritage.
As a resident of the 2508 New Housing Scheme, my days are filled with the warmth of community, where neighbors are more like family. Whether we’re gathering for festivities or simply enjoying the tranquil beauty of the Upper Pomeroon River, there’s always a story to share, reminiscent of the tales passed down from our ancestors.
