Greetings! My name is John Ribeiro, a dedicated farmer residing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast, just 25 east of the Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in this vibrant community, I have developed a deep appreciation for the land and the rich cultural heritage that defines Guyana. From the lush greenery to the flowing rivers, every aspect of my environment inspires my work and connects me deeply to my roots.
As a farmer, I take pride in cultivating not just crops, but also the flavors that make our local cuisine truly unique. There's nothing quite like the taste of homemade dishes, reminiscent of family gatherings and celebrations. Whether it's a hearty bowl of cook-up rice or some delectable pepperpot, I cherish the recipes passed down through generations. Though I may not have the means to travel often, my heart is always with my homeland.
