Growing up, the aromas of my mother's famous pepper pot filled our home every holiday, while Sundays were reserved for the delight of curry lamb, a dish my family savors together. I have a soft spot for a good roti—pronounced “raw tee,” of course!—and there's nothing quite like enjoying a warm egg ball or a delicious pine tart after a long week.
