As a lover of authentic local cuisine, there's nothing quite like a plate of pepperpot, where the meat falls off the bone—just like the saying goes, "Meat falls off the bone like clothes off the body for a one-night stand!" It’s these flavors that keep me connected to home, whether I'm sharing a meal with friends or reflecting on my journey. I also enjoy connecting with the diaspora community, where we often reminisce about the unique terms we use—like 'balangae' for eggplant or 'callalue' for some of our beloved vegetables.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
