Hello! I’m Joshua Adams, a proud resident of the Essequibo North Sideline Reserve in the enchanting Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled between lush landscapes and the mighty Essequibo River, my home is a vibrant reflection of our diverse culture. Growing up here, I’ve savored the delights of our local cuisine, from pepperpot to cassava bread, all while enjoying the rhythms of chutney music that echo through our communities.
As a Guyanese, I carry with me the rich cultural heritage of our nation, where Hinduism and other traditions coexist harmoniously. It’s not uncommon to find a lively celebration in the streets, with colorful parades and the sweet smell of fried plantains wafting through the air. My roots run deep here, and I love sharing stories of our beloved landmarks, like the iconic St. Monica's Mission, that connect us to our past and guide our future.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
