Greetings! My name is Josiah Fortune, and I proudly call Pomeroon-Supenaam home. Nestled in the heart of Guyana, my community is rich with vibrant culture and warm-hearted people. Growing up in Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our beautiful landscapes, from the stunning Essequibo River to the lush rainforests that are a stone's throw away. Despite the challenges our nation faces, such as navigating the complexities of development and resource management, the resilience and creativity of our people shine through. We often find humor in the quirks of daily life, like the narrow streets and the absence of sidewalks that define our neighborhoods.
