Hello! My name is Juan Persaud, and I proudly call Essequibo Cemetery South in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of the Pomeroon River, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique way of life that defines our community. From the sweet taste of fresh pepperpot during the holidays to the lively celebrations of Mashramani, my experiences have been enriched by the warmth and spirit of our people.
As a resident of Guyana, I strive to bridge the connections between our homeland and the diaspora.
