Welcome! My name is Julie Williams, and I proudly call Pom River Haimara Creek in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon and the rich blend of cultures that make up our society, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for our local traditions. From the tempting aromas wafting from our kitchens – where dishes like metemgee and cook-up rice are lovingly prepared – to the breathtaking beauty of the Kanuku Mountains, my heart is intertwined with the essence of Guyana.
