Hello! I’m Kalamazad Fahiman, a proud farmer from 35 Sana Souci Wakenaam in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the Pomeroon River flows and the rich soil nurtures our crops. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and the sounds of nature, I've developed a profound respect for the land and the community. From harvesting cassava to growing the most exquisite tropical fruits, my work is not just a profession but a passion that connects me to the simple yet fulfilling life of my ancestors.
Guyana is renowned for its diverse culture, mouthwatering dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, and our unique dialects that reflect our mixed heritage. I cherish the festive celebrations, especially Mashramani, where the joyous sounds of soca and chutney fill the air. Whether it's chatting with neighbors about the latest cricket match or sharing tales of our homeland with those in the diaspora, I find joy in connecting with others, both near and far.
