Hello! I’m Kalesh Latchminarine, a proud resident of Garden Essequibo Coast right here in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up along the scenic banks of the Pomeroon River, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the rich natural beauty and cultural diversity that define our homeland. Living in the heart of the Essequibo region, I often find myself reminiscing about my childhood adventures. Whether it was fishing in the Tinapuri river or celebrating festivals at St. Monica, these experiences have shaped my identity and instilled in me a strong sense of community. I believe that sharing our stories and traditions, especially with the Guyanese diaspora, helps keep our culture alive and thriving, no matter where we are in the world.
