Hello! I’m Kathleen Bagot, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically on the vibrant 47 Public Road, New Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana has profoundly shaped who I am. The Essequibo River, which flows nearby, has been a constant source of inspiration and a reminder of the natural beauty we are fortunate to enjoy here.
My love for Guyanese culture runs deep, especially when it comes to our incredible cuisine. There’s nothing quite like a plate of barbecued lamb seasoned to perfection, a dish that brings together family and friends. I often reminisce about the flavorful dishes from our local cookouts and the lively conversations that accompany them.
