Greetings from the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region! My name is Kawalie Parasram, and I proudly call the Coast F Sea Dam in Reliance Anna my home. Growing up here, I’ve been deeply influenced by the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, from the vibrant festivals like Diwali and Mashramani to the delectable local dishes such as pepperpot and roti. The sounds of the Pomeroon River always remind me of my roots and the warmth of our community.
As someone who cherishes our Guyanese identity, I often find myself reminiscing about the lively conversations with neighbors and the cherished traditions that connect us all.
