Hello! My name is Kayla Orella, and I proudly call Bank Essequibo my home. Nestled in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I am deeply connected to the rich culture and heritage that defines our beautiful Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the calming sounds of the Pomeroon River, I cherish the warmth of our community and the flavors of our local cuisine, from the beloved pepperpot to the ever-popular roti and curry.
As a resident of the 960 Block 8 New Housing area, I find joy in sharing our traditions with the diaspora community. I love connecting with fellow Guyanese, whether it's reminiscing about our favorite spots like River Grant Maureen's Dale or celebrating the accomplishments of our younger generations. It's heartening to see our homeland evolving, and I feel a sense of pride in being part of that journey.
