Greetings! I’m Kayshav Naraine, a proud civil engineer from the lush Essequibo Coast, specifically residing on Third Street in Columbia, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our unique heritage, from the rich sounds of our diverse accents to the delectable flavors of our local dishes, such as pepperpot and metemgee. Having lived in the heart of the Pomeroon River area, I often reflect on the dialogues of our diaspora that connect us back home, even when we are miles away.
