I cherish the spirit of togetherness that defines our culture and make it a point to engage with my neighbors regularly, sharing not just food but also laughter and memories.
Living in the Essequibo region, I’m surrounded by the beauty of nature and the rich heritage of Guyana. The nearby landmarks, such as the majestic waterfalls and pristine beaches, offer endless inspiration and a reminder of the treasures our country holds. I also enjoy connecting with the Guyanese diaspora, sharing experiences and stories of life abroad. It’s important to me to keep our culture alive wherever we go, whether through the traditional dishes I cook or the music I listen to—nothing beats a good soca or chutney tune!
