Greetings! My name is Kelly Deokarran, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Living on Coast 28 First Street in Sparta, I am deeply connected to the rich cultural heritage that defines our nation. From the vibrant sounds of the market vendors selling fresh fruits and fish to the aroma of our beloved pepperpot and cook-up rice wafting through the air, every day here is a celebration of Guyanese life. I cherish the memories of time spent along the Pomeroon River, where laughter and stories flow just like the water itself.
Having been blessed to grow up in this unique landscape, I carry my experiences with me wherever I go.
