Greetings! My name is Kelwin Ellis, and I proudly call Coast 06 Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and traditions. Whether it's enjoying a hearty plate of cook-up rice or sharing stories of the Pomeroon River with my neighbors, every experience resonates with the warmth and hospitality that make our country unique.
As a resident deeply rooted in the local way of life, I understand the importance of our distinct identity. We often remind ourselves that we are not Caribbean, reflecting our unique blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and Portuguese influences. This diversity is evident in our daily lives, from the flavors of our local cuisine to the lively interactions in our settlements like Katowro. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
