Hello! My name is Kenneth Bissoondial, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Coast 2A School Street Sparta in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture, which is beautifully reflected in our food, music, and the warmth of our people. From the aromatic spices in our beloved curry dishes to the sweet taste of pepperpot during special occasions, my roots deeply influence my identity.
As a resident of this picturesque region, surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River, I often find myself captivated by the serene beauty of our country. Guyana is a hidden gem, boasting a promising future with its breathtaking tourist destinations, the recent oil discoveries, and, most importantly, our loving and caring communities. I take pride in being part of a nation where over half a million Guyanese thrive abroad, sharing our culture and spirit worldwide while staying connected to our homeland.
Being a part of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), I embrace our shared heritage and the diversity that makes us unique. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
