Greetings! I’m Keron Hendricks, a proud sailor hailing from the vibrant Essequibo Coast, specifically the Cross Canal Dredge in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I’ve always embraced the uniqueness of my homeland. Whether it’s enjoying a hearty plate of duck curry or sipping on a refreshing glass of mauby, I take pride in sharing my culture with others and fostering connections that transcend borders.
As a sailor, my career has taken me to various shores, but my heart remains anchored in Guyana. I believe that our country’s recent strides towards democracy and development speak volumes about our resilient spirit. It’s fascinating to see how Guyana is projected to become one of the world's leading oil producers by 2024, a transformation that I hope will benefit all Guyanese.
