Born and raised on the lush Essequibo Coast, I’m Keron Gunselves, a proud farmer dedicated to cultivating the rich lands of the David James Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in a community deeply rooted in agriculture, I have a profound appreciation for the vibrant flavors of Guyanese cuisine, from the spicy pepperpot to the sweet essence of coconut bread. My connection to the land is not just professional—it’s personal, as it weaves together the stories of my ancestors and the vibrant traditions that define our heritage.
As a member of the diaspora, I cherish the bonds we share with fellow Guyanese around the world.
