Hello! My name is Kevin Obermuller, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Living on First Street in Affiance, I've developed a deep appreciation for the rich culture and natural beauty of Guyana. From the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River to the vibrant markets filled with local delicacies like pepperpot and cook-up rice, I find joy in the flavors and traditions that define our way of life. Whether I'm enjoying a meal at a neighborhood eatery or sharing stories with friends under the shade of a mamey sapote tree, every moment reminds me of the beauty of my homeland.
As a resident deeply embedded in the community, I believe in the potential of Guyana to shine on the world stage. I often reminisce about my experiences along the Lower Pomeroon River, where the warmth of the locals and the serenity of the landscape create a sense of belonging.
