As a Guyanese, I understand the passion we have for our homeland, and I take pride in sharing its beauty with others. From the lush rainforests to the majestic Kaieteur Falls, there’s so much to explore. I often hear folks mispronounce our beloved country’s name—it's Guy-ana, not Gui-ana! It's a reminder of the many conversations I have with both locals and those in the diaspora, people who love to talk about our history, our struggles, and our triumphs.
Connecting with the Guyanese community, whether here or abroad, is something I truly value.
