Greetings! My name is Kevin George, and I am a proud farmer residing in the vibrant community of 11 Maripa on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in the rich soils of Guyana, where I cultivate not only crops but also a profound connection to our heritage. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and waterways, I've learned to appreciate the flavors of our local cuisine, from pepperpot to metemgee, always with a side of good company and laughter that can light up any gathering.
In our culture, every event, big or small, feels incomplete without the infectious rhythms of our music playing in the background. You won’t find a wedding house in Guyana that won't erupt into joyous celebration once the right tune hits the airwaves—it's a tradition that brings us together, reminding us of the importance of community and shared joy. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
