Hello! My name is Kevon Klass, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, this vibrant area reflects the rich cultural heritage of Guyana. From savoring the delightful taste of pepperpot during family gatherings to enjoying a Sunday afternoon by the Essequibo River, every moment is a celebration of our unique traditions and warm community spirit. I also have a deep appreciation for our diverse landscapes, whether it's exploring the lush greenery of the interior or taking a stroll through the narrow, unpaved streets of Windsor Estate, which adds character to our daily lives.
As a proud Guyanese, I understand the challenges our nation faces, especially for our hardworking rice farmers. Despite these difficulties, our resilience shines through. I often engage with the diaspora, sharing stories and experiences that bridge our culture with those living abroad. My interactions online with fellow Guyanese and others who appreciate our beautiful country strengthen my connection to our roots and the shared mission to uplift each other. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
