Hello! I’m Khado Singh, a passionate jeweller based in the beautiful region of Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled 54 west of the public in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve always been inspired by the vibrant culture and rich traditions that our land embodies. From the warm spices of our culinary delights, like pepperpot and metemgee, to the stunning landscapes along the Essequibo River, every aspect of my upbringing influences my craft.
In my work, I strive to blend traditional Guyanese craftsmanship with contemporary designs, creating unique pieces that tell a story of our heritage. I draw inspiration from local landmarks, like the serene beaches of Essequibo and the lush greenery of our hinterlands, translating those elements into my jewellery. As a proud Guyanese, I understand the importance of connection; whether it's through the intricate designs that echo our culture or the shared experiences of those who have left home but carry a piece of Guyana with them wherever they go.
As I continue to grow my business, my goal is to foster a sense of community among Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora. I believe in the power of our stories and the strength of our bonds.
