Hello! I'm Khemraj Seenauth, a proud resident of the West Coast Demerara in the vibrant 203 Area G De Willem. My roots are deeply intertwined with the beautiful landscapes of Essequibo Islands-West Demerara, a place where the Pomeroon River gracefully winds through our daily lives. Growing up near the flowing waters, I’ve come to appreciate the richness of our culture, from the fresh catch of the day to the sweet aroma of cook-up rice simmering with spices.
As an active member of my community, I cherish the experiences that come from gathering with friends and family over traditional Guyanese dishes. Whether it’s sharing stories around the table or enjoying a good old-fashioned lime with a plate of pepperpot or dhalpuri, these moments highlight the strong bonds that tie us to our heritage. I also find joy in reminiscing about familiar places like Castle Lower Pom and River Grant, where every corner holds a memory and every wave of the river carries tales of our ancestors.
