As a fisherman, I spend my days by the waters of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, embracing the rich biodiversity that our rivers and coastline offer. Growing up, I cherished the flavors of our local cuisine, indulging in dishes like pepper pot and fried plantains, often shared among family and friends during festive gatherings.
