Hello! I’m Kisssoon Lall, a passionate carpenter residing in the beautiful community of Regina Essequibo Coast, just 22 miles west of the bustling Public Road. Growing up along the banks of the Pomeroon River, I have always been inspired by the rich traditions and vibrant culture of Guyana, from the delightful flavors of our pepperpot to the lively rhythms of our folk music. My craftsmanship reflects the spirit of our land, with each piece I create telling a story of home.
Having worked on various projects throughout Pomeroon and neighboring areas like Lower Pomeroon River and Myrie Island Wakapau, I take pride in contributing to the local landscape. Whether it’s repairing a cherished family home or crafting custom furniture, I strive to honor the heritage of our communities. I often reminisce about visits to schools in Georgetown, where I first learned the importance of hard work and perseverance from my teachers and the vibrant energy of the children.
Though I now live away from some of my favorite spots, such as the River Boliva Settlement and Hackney Canal, I carry my roots with me wherever I go. The connections I maintain with the Guyanese diaspora remind me of our shared journey and resilience.
