Hello! I’m Korphiena Stephen, a proud resident of Essequibo, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of this area has deeply influenced my values and perspectives. I cherish the rich traditions of our people, especially the warmth of community gatherings where we share stories, laughter, and of course, some delicious local dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice. There’s nothing quite like the aroma of freshly prepared food wafting through the air during a family celebration!
