Greetings! I’m Kuar Sukhnandan, an Environmental Health Assistant proudly rooted in the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically in Johanna Cecilia, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and heritage. From the mouthwatering taste of a fresh ginip in sowah to the warmth of our people, every element of Guyanese life fuels my passion for serving my community.
My work in environmental health allows me to contribute to the well-being of our neighborhoods. Whether it’s advocating for better sanitation practices or educating families about health risks, I strive to ensure that my community thrives. I often draw inspiration from the unity and resilience I see in my fellow Guyanese, especially as we connect with our diaspora around the world.
