Hello! My name is Kumar Lall, and I proudly hail from the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Guyana, specifically the tranquil village of Cullen Sand Top. My roots are deeply entwined with the rich culture of our land, where the Pomeroon River flows and the lush landscapes are adorned with vibrant flora. As a labourer, I’ve learned the value of hard work and community, often sharing meals of fresh fish and cassava with my neighbors, celebrating life’s simple pleasures that define our way of living.
Guyana is a hidden gem, and I cherish my heritage, from the lively festivals like Mashramani to the serene beauty of the Essequibo islands. The warmth of our people shines brightest outside the hustle of Georgetown, in places like Berbice and Wakenaam, where genuine connections are forged through shared stories and traditions. I have a passion for capturing this essence and sharing it, whether it’s through videos or community gatherings. Each interaction reminds me of the importance of maintaining our culture and connecting with our diaspora, whether in NYC or as far away as Greece.
