Hello! I’m Kyle Walters, a proud resident of Bank Demerara 495 Onderneeming West in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture and rich history of our land has instilled in me a profound appreciation for our diverse heritage. From the lush expanses of the Essequibo River to the rhythmic beats of our folk music, my home is a constant reminder of the beauty that lies within our unique Guyanese identity.
In my daily life, you’ll often find me enjoying a plate of dhal puri, skillfully scooping up the flavors of spicy meat and channa—there’s nothing quite like it! Food is a central part of our culture, and sharing meals with family and friends is one of my favorite pastimes. I believe that our culinary traditions, much like our languages and customs, tell the story of who we are and where we come from, connecting us deeply to both our homeland and the vibrant diaspora communities around the world.
