Hello! I'm Lawrence Daniels, a dedicated labourer based at the Kaibourie Canal dredge in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in this rich and diverse land, I've always been proud of our vibrant culture and heritage. From the lush landscapes of the Essequibo River to the warm-hearted communities that thrive here, I find inspiration in the daily life around me. We share a unique bond with our fellow Guyanese, celebrating events like Mashramani with delicious dishes such as pepperpot and cook-up rice, always accompanied by the lively rhythms of our local music.
I cherish the strong connections we have with the Caribbean and our neighbors, including those from Brazil and Suriname. We are often overlooked in discussions about the Caribbean, but our contributions to the region's history and culture are significant.
