Hello! I’m Lekhram Singh, a proud carpenter residing in Bank Essequibo, 500 Phase 2 South, in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this land, where the mighty Essequibo River flows and where I have honed my craft, building not just structures, but homes filled with love and memories. Growing up, I was surrounded by the rich flavors and traditions of Guyana, from the savory taste of pepperpot to the sweet delight of cassareep that reminds me of home. As a true son of the soil, I cherish our local ingredients and often find myself reminiscing about gathering with family to celebrate special occasions, sharing stories and laughter over delicious meals. I’m also a devoted follower of nature’s beauty, often taking trips to magnificent spots like Mount Roraima, where the serenity of the landscape inspires my work.
Though I now navigate life far from my beloved Guyana, I stay connected to my roots through my craft and the vibrant diaspora community.
