Hello! I'm Leon Pritchard, a proud resident of Essequibo Coast, specifically nestled on 105 First Street Housing in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Guyana, with its lush landscapes and vibrant culture, is my home. As someone who enjoys connecting with the diaspora, I love sharing our stories and traditions with those who have ventured far from home. Many of us from Guyana can relate to the comments about our Caribbean identity—yes, we are part of CARICOM and share in the Caribbean spirit, but we are also proud mainlanders of South America. From the rich history of Rastafarianism, influenced by our Indian roots, to the legendary tales of the jungle where Mew was discovered, there's so much that binds us together, no matter where we are in the world.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
