Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage, which is reflected in everything I do. As a child of British Guiana, I cherish the history that has shaped our nation. Though we gained independence in 1966, our connection to the Commonwealth continues to resonate with us today. I believe that it is vital for us to remember our past, as many Guyanese may not know the full story. Through my work, I strive to contribute positively to my community and encourage our youth to embrace and celebrate our identity, ensuring that the essence of Guyana thrives both locally and in the diaspora.
Living on Coast 214 Hoppie Street, I am grateful for the ability to connect with fellow Guyanese—both near and far.
