Greetings! I’m Leslyn Browne, a proud Guyanese native living along the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Regina. My roots run deep in this vibrant community, where rich traditions and a diverse culture thrive. I work as a domestic maid, dedicating my days to ensuring comfort and warmth in the homes of others. Every day, I am reminded of the beautiful landscapes and the close-knit relationships that define our Guyanese way of life.
Growing up, I was surrounded by the flavors of our local cuisine, from the beloved hibiscus tea that many of you have fond memories of to the rich curries and pepperpot that grace our tables during celebrations. There's nothing quite like sharing a meal with family and friends, reminiscing about the days gone by, and the stories that connect us all. Whether it's the sound of the river flowing by or the laughter of children playing in the streets, the spirit of Guyana is always present in my heart.
