My roots run deep in this beautiful land where the Essequibo River flows, and I take immense pride in our rich heritage. Growing up here, I’ve enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, from fishing along the riverbanks to sharing hearty meals of pepperpot and metemgee with family and friends.
